Dr. Johar is Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesia. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and National Dental Board of Anesthesia . Dr. Johar graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1994 and received his advanced training in Anesthesia at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York in 1996. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Johar has operated in and managed several successful Oral and Maxillofacial surgery practices in the Capital Region and NYC area over the last 20 years. He enjoys all aspects of the specialty including wisdom teeth removal, implants, orthognathic, reconstructive, and trauma surgery. As the founder of Empire Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Johar is looking forward to his favorite aspect of the practice – taking care of his patients in the Capital region.
In his free time he enjoys traveling as well as spending time with his family.
